Tiered Tray

Hi Friends!

I’ve had so much fun decorating my tiered tray each season for the different holidays. The first time I decorated it I definitely wasnt even sure where to start! Theres a lot of space on each level and I feel I’ve learned some super helpful tips for anyone who wants to add a tiered tray to their life. This one is from Hive and Home and my discount code with them is SHELBY25 . Let me know if you get one I’d love to see how you style it as well. Here are my tips:

  1. Get a good mix of different sized items: to make sure everything on the tray is seen put larger items in the back and smaller ones in the front seems silly but having a good mix really helps it look cohesive overall.
  2. Hit up the dollar store: tiered trays are super fun to design but all of the items you add to them can really add up in your bank account a majority of these things were found at the dollar store. (other good places to look are target dollar spot and holiday section or craft stores)
  3. Finds things already in your house to incorporate: Seasonal mugs add a cute touch, ribbon you didn’t use on packaging becomes the cutest little statement!
  4. Get a color theme: its fun to want all of the colors on the tiered tray but this can end up looking super hectic so try to stick to a specific theme.
  5. Add things coming off of the tray: the ribbon in this case goes down the side of the tray giving it a cute extra festive touch. At Halloween I added some fun fake flower sticks coming off of the sides.

I hope y’all loved these tips as much as I loved sharing them! Cant wait to see how you incorporate them into your tray!

Sincerely,

Shelby Limpert
